All SATA members have the opportunity to use what is called a “single sign on”
if you come to 210Careers.org through the SATA membership portal. This means
that if you have logged in to SATA and then click on the link to go to
210Careers.org, you will be taken straight to your jobseeker account dashboard
and not asked to sign in again.
FIRST TIME VISITORS: If it is your
first time visiting 210careers and you come through the SATA site, a jobseeker
account will be set up for you automatically with your SATA credentials. From
then on you can either visit 210careers.org via the SATA link, or by going
straight to www.210careers.org and logging in with the email address and
password that are in your SATA account.
If you would like to set up a jobseeker account directly on 210Careers right
now, but in the future potentially be able to use the single sign on through
SATA, please use your SATA email address and password when creating your
210Careers account.
RETURNING VISITORS: If you have already created a 210Careers jobseeker
account directly through 210careers and then later come in through the SATA
link, an email match will be used to find your account. Your password will then
be overwritten to match your SATA password.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I have already set up
an account directly on 210careers.org, using a different email and password than
what is in my SATA account, and now I want to be able to come in through the
SATA site?
A: If the email on your
210careers account is different from the one in your SATA account, and you come
in from the SATA site, we will be unable to match you to the account you have
already created. Instead, you will be considered a new user and a new account
will be created for you with your SATA email/password. It is recommended that
you change the email address on your 210careers account to match your SATA
account before trying to come in through the SATA site. Otherwise, you will end
up having two different jobseeker accounts on 210careers.org.
Q: If I change the email on my SATA account, and then go to 210careers through the SATA
site, will it update my 210careers account email?
A: No- if you change the email address on your SATA account after having created
a 210careers account, you must first update the email in your 210careers account
so that you can be matched to it when you try to come in from the SATA site.
Otherwise, you will be recognized as a new user because there is no match for
your email, and a new jobseeker account will be created for you.
Q: Can I log in to the 210Careers.org with my SATA credentials without having
to go through the SATA site first?
A: No- 210Careers does not have your SATA credentials on file if you have not
yet come through the SATA site. You may either create an account directly on
210Careers.org using your SATA email and password, OR link through from the SATA
site, in which case an account will be created for you. Then you can log in at
any time directly on 210Careers with your SATA credentials, or just continue to
come in through the SATA site.
Q: What if I cancel my SATA membership. Will I still be able to use my
account on 210Careers?
A: Of course! You can continue to use your SATA email and password to log
directly into your 210Careers account, with the option to change your login
credentials at any time through your 210Careers account settings.
